Professor Emeritus of Urban and Regional Planning

While at Eastern Michigan University, Norm taught a variety of courses in urban planning, historic preservation, and geography. In addition to serving as Director of the Planning Program for many years, he coordinated the program’s Advisory Board, was webmaster for the program’s web site, served as advisor to the student Planning Awareness Club and student mentoring program, and edited the program’s newsletter. He has a Doctor of Architecture degree (UM) and a PhD in Urban Planning (MSU).
