One of the oldest buildings in the city, the Biltmore Mansion was built by the Biltmore family in the 1840s. Since the Biltmore family moved to Arizona, the mansion has been used as a local history museum, administered by Clara Story, who lives next door. The 2nd floor is not used, but retains the furniture from the original estate.
Also connected with the house is the Biltmore Farm property behind the residence. This large parcel is a beautiful and desirable site which has never been developed.
