The next task of the Study Committee is to recommend what should be subject to review for properties in a historic district. These would be included as provisions in a historic district ordinance.
You can review common citizen concerns and comments. Review should follow provisions of the Standards for Rehabilitation established by the U.S. Secretary of the Interior, a commonly adopted set of standards used by local governments.
From the following list, select items you would recommend for inclusion in a historic district ordinance for downtown Rivertown; these would be subject to review by a historic district commission.
Changes for the street-facing exterior wall(s) Changes for all other exterior walls Additions Demolition New buildings Signage Exterior colors Site trees and landscaping Major modifications to building interiors Changes to fences and other site constructions
(Note: The selected items will be included automatically in the Study Committee report.)
